'Ananda Tandavam' has an appealing storyline but the screenplay was stale and the script was weak. The
presentation was the only saving grace of the film. camerawork was exceptional.
Story:
Raghu (Siddarth) who is about to commit suicide since the one girl he loved Madhumati (Tamannah) has turned him
down after playing with his feelings for a long time. Apparently, Madhu's parents fix her wedding with Radhakrishna
(Rishi) who lives in the US and the girl who is basically innocent tends to go according to her parent's decision.
Meanwhile, Raghu is saved from his attempt and he is given a piece of wisdom. He decides to go to New York and
become a big man. As fate would have it, he meets Rathna (Rukmini) and she falls in love with him while Raghu likes
her nature. However, there he also meets Madhu who seems to be happy. However, she gets to know that
Radhakrishna has been cheating on her and while she looks towards Raghu for help, he is on the verge of getting
engaged to Rathna. What happens next forms the crux of the movie.
Music:
Music by G.V.Prakash Kumar is average, couple of tracks are melodious. Background score is okay.
Performance:
Siddarth did an average job, his expressions were lifeless. Tamannah looked glamorous. Rukmini was okay. Kitti and
Charlie were apt. All other supporting cast were average.
Verdict:
To sum up 'Ananda Tandavam' confuses audiences with it's poor naration. Movie can be easily skipped. Ananda
Tandavam can be rated as below average. | |
