'Avakai Biriyani' is the story of an auto driver and his love interest. Auto driver being a Muslim and his love is a Hindu.
Movie not only focuses on the romance between the lead pair but is also laced with other social elements present in the current
society.
Story:
Akbar Kalam, Auto driver by profession rents his auto from Masterji. Lakshmi is the daughter of Purushottam, Puroshottam
and family had to move out of Polavaram to Deverkonda and start their living from scrach. They are one of the victims of
Polavaram project.
Lakshmi often goes to Vikarabad to get household stuff and provisions. She goes to Vikarabad in Akbar's Auto all the time.
Slowly they both get closer to each other and eventually fall in love.
Once the Chief Minister visits the village. Akbar stands out and daringly explains CM about the problems of the villagers, by
expressing his views he becomes the wrath of the bigwigs of the town, one of them being Masterji.
How Akbar becomes a local hero and overcome the barrier of religion and unites with his love forms the rest of the
story.
Performance:
Kamal Kamaraju did good job, his performed with utmost ease and proved that he has good acting skills. Bindu Madhavi who
debuted as the heroine is beautiful and equally talented. She looks tradional. Rao Ramesh could not do justice to his
character. Praneeth's situational comedy is good.
Music:
Manikanth Kadri's music is the highlight of the movie. SOngs are catchy and melodious. Song 'Maamidi Kommaki' is pick of
the lot.
Verdict:
Overall Avakai Biriyani is a good family entertainer with little bit of everything to satisfy the hunger of whole family. Movie may
not fare well among the mass audience. Movie can be watched once, money worth spent. Average viewer will not be
