Krishna Vamsi's 'Sasirekha Parinayam' is a romantic flick with good
entertainment and a good dose of family sentiment. Few sequences in the movie
are directly copied from the Hindi romantic flick 'Jab we met' starring kareena
and Shahid, but no similarities between the two stories.
Story:
Sasirekha's (Genelia) wedding is suddenly fixed by her father to an NRI and she
comes to know of her marraige on the very day of the wedding. She is not yet
ready for the wedding and tries to convince her parents to stop the
arrangements but fails to convince. with no other solution left She runs from
home. In the act of escaping from her family members who has been chasing her,
she comes across Anand(Tarun), and takes his help to reach Hyderabad. The story
is all about what happened during the journey.
Performance:
Genelia has given an excellent performance. Her expressions were perfect and
she looked beautiful even with out any makeup. Tarun also was a perfect fit to
the character. This movie is definetly a milestone in his career. He got a good
break after a long time. Ahuthi Prasad and Tulasi were apt as heroine's
parents. Gopala Krishna’s role has negative shades and is an interesting one.
All other supporting cast did their best.
Music:
Music is average, lyrics by Sirivennala's lyrics to the songs 'Elaa Entha Sepu'
and 'Ninne Ninne' are good. Cinematography and choreography is good.
Verdict:
Overall 'Sasirekha Parinayam' is a good movie to watch with good comedy.
Krishna Vamsi has given a good family entertainer. 'Sasirekha Parinayam' can be
rated as an average movie. | |
